Anya Taylor-Joy is the latest face of Tiffany & Co’s Blue Book 2023: Out of the Blue high jewelry collection.
“Each piece has an amazing story that connects to Tiffany’s heritage,” Taylor-Joy said of the collection, the brand’s ultimate expression of gemstones and innovation. “In a way, it is theatrical — like wearable art. I think that is part of what makes each design so extraordinary. It is more than just a diamond necklace; it’s also an expression of something larger, a symbol of relentless creativity and innovation.”
Shot by Craig McDean and styled by Ryan Hastings the images — which launch Monday on tiffany.com, brand social channels and global print and digital media — pay homage to the legacy of the American jeweler and Hollywood glamour: Breakfast at Tiffany’s anyone?
McDean shot a throughly modern Taylor-Joy against a blue backdrop, tying the house legacy to contemporary times. The actress dons a mix of pieces, including new expressions of Jean Schlumberger’s legacy creations through the sharp lens of Nathalie Verdeille, Tiffany’s chief artistic officer of jewelry and high jewelry.
“It was an honor to have Anya in front of my lens again wearing stunning Tiffany jewelry,” McDean said. “She always brings so much life and beauty to a picture. She was the perfect subject to showcase such beautiful Tiffany jewels.”
The Golden Globe winning actress joined Tiffany in 2021 as an ambassador taking on the T1 Collection and, most recently, helped cut the ribbon at brand’s Tokyo flagship opening. Taylor-Joy has worn Tiffany jewelry on a variety of red carpets. She takes the high jewelry baton from Gal Gadot, who was featured in a Tiffany High Jewelry campaign in 2022.
